It all began on August 24, 2022, at a school retreat held at — of all places — Great Wolf Lodge in Texas. Not the most glamorous setting for a love story, but definitely one for the books. Savannah, a Texas girl, Kane a skater from Florida living in South Carolina, and both were attending an online school that gathered twice a year in person. They were only 17 and 18 at the time, just teenagers figuring out life — and yet, somehow, this moment set everything in motion. Twice a year, students from all over would meet up in person — and that year, it happened to be in Grapevine, Texas.Neither one remembers much of their actual conversations, but they definitely remember thinking the other was cute. They exchanged contact info, went their separate ways, and stayed in touch.Fast forward: Savannah hears Kane is moving to Waco, Texas (just two hours from her hometown!) to attend a missionary program. Her ears perked up, but she didn’t overthink it. Then her little brother had back-to-back football games in Waco, and she casually let Kane know she’d be in town. Kane, who had secretly been planning to shoot his shot, immediately replied: “We should hang out.”That October, they started seeing each other weekly. From day one, it was clear they had something real. They never really were “just friends,” and things quickly turned into something more.By December, Kane’s program ended and he moved back to South Carolina. Luckily, Savannah already had a flight booked to visit just a few weeks later. She stayed for about 15 days, met all his people, and just before New Year’s of 2022, Kane officially asked her to be his girlfriend.For a while, they made long distance work. They flew back and forth, planned visits, and spent every moment they could together. It wasn’t easy — but the love was worth it.After Savannah graduated high school (literally three days after), she made the boldest decision of her life: to move to South Carolina and live with Kane and his family.She lived with his family for about seven months, before getting her own place and Kane getting his shortly after. Now Kane + Savannah live next door to each other (Like literally a wall between them) with their two cats and sweet pup. Kane’s still a skater boy, Savannah’s still a Texas girl at heart, and their favorite moments are the simple ones — like walking their dog through the neighborhood, dancing around the kitchen, or making last-minute road trips to see her family back in Texas (where they plan to move back together one day!).Their journey hasn’t been without its challenges. Like any couple, they’ve faced their fair share of ups and downs — moving states, growing up, learning how to love each other through change. But through every single storm, God has been faithful. He’s walked with them through every season, and they can say with confidence that their love is built on a foundation that’s unshakable.They’ve known for a long time this was forever. Now they’re ready to start their next chapter — hand in hand, hearts wide open, and with God at the center of it all.

Eli is truly Kane’s best friend — a constant in his life for nearly four years. Through growth, change, and every season in between, he’s stayed by Kane’s side. Their friendship is built on trust, loyalty, and a whole lot of shared memories. There’s no one else Kane would want standing beside him as his best man.

Makenna has been Savannah’s best friend for nearly four years, and in that time, they’ve walked through just about everything life could throw their way — heartbreak, long distance, big changes, and growing up together. When Makenna first met Kane, it was clear they came as a packaged deal. With birthdays only four days apart and personalities that are basically twin flames, their bond runs deep. She’s been a constant, a safe place, and a true sister to Savannah — having her by her side means everything.

Jabrice was the very first friend Kane made when he moved to South Carolina, and he’s been by his side ever since. Through every season — the highs, the chaos, and everything in between — Jabrice has remained loyal, real, and one of Kane’s most trusted friends. We’re so grateful to have him standing with us on our big day.

Braylen is Savannah’s little brother, and as they’ve grown up, they’ve become true best friends. Over time, he’s also become a brother to Kane — and Kane proudly claims the title of the big brother Braylen never had. Braylen is hilarious, always real, and never afraid to speak the truth (whether you want to hear it or not). Having him by our side means everything.

Presley is Savannah’s cousin and the closest in age — but more than that, she’s truly a best friend. From growing up side by side to staying constantly connected (if they’re not talking to their Nanny, they’re texting each other), Presley has been a constant in Savannah’s life. They share so much — laughs, personality, and a bond that’s stood the test of time. Savannah couldn’t imagine this day without her.

Addyson is Savannah’s cousin, and one of the most beautiful, bright, and funny people in her life. From laughter to deep talks, Addyson brings joy and light wherever she goes. Savannah couldn’t imagine this day without her standing close by.

Jace may be Savannah’s little brother, but over time he’s become a brother to Kane too. From cracking jokes to sharing real moments, their bond has grown into something strong and genuine. Having Jace by Kane’s side on this day means the world to both of us — he’s family in every way that counts.

Kinley is Savannah’s cousin and one of the most beautiful souls she knows — inside and out. She’s sweet, loyal, loving, and always there when it matters most. Savannah is so thankful for the heart Kinley brings into every space, and even more thankful to have her by her side on such a special day.

Lily is Savannah’s cousin and the youngest of the Fab Five, but age has never mattered between them. Despite being the farthest apart in years, they’ve always had so much in common — from their sense of humor to the way they see the world. Lily brings a calm, steady light wherever she goes, and Savannah is so grateful to have her by her side on such a special day.

Gigi may have started out as Kane’s friend, but over the years, she’s become so much more than that to Savannah. They’ve walked through so much together — and through it all, their bond has only grown stronger. They’re wildly similar in the best ways, and Savannah truly loves her like a sister. Having her by her side on this day means the world.

With a name like Poppy, she was born for this role. Savannah’s only sister and forever mini bestie, Poppy brings so much joy, laughter, and sparkle to our lives. She’s the sweetest little soul and we couldn’t imagine walking down the aisle without her leading the way.

Samuel is Savannah’s little brother, and their bond is something truly special. Savannah was homeschooled during the first two years of his life, so she spent every single day with him — and from that time on, they’ve been inseparable. She’s always been more than just a big sister; she’s a best friend and a little bit of a second mom, too. Even Kane knows he doesn’t stand a chance when Samuel’s around (kidding… kinda). Having him as the ring bearer is such a meaningful part of this day.
